Woodlawn Children's Ministry

It seemed like yesterday that preparation for VBS was underway.  The summer has gone by quickly.  Our kids have grown in size and number.  Since VBS we have had seven children join our family.  The children have worked, played and have developed a close friendship.  They have participated in a carnival, cookouts, zoo trip, miniature golf, went to the Grace, enjoyed film night, and this weekend we are bowling.  We know the children have lots of fun when they are together, and this could not happen without your support.

Your support has allowed these children to enjoy time together to develop friendships, and learn the importance of a family, a family in God.  They have seen your love and care.  Their families also see the devotion given to their children.  We would like to take this opportunity to thank some special people who have given their time to make this summer special for our kids.  Donna Sikes, Misti Maxewell, Chad and Abby Longley, Manuel and Brenda Gamboa, Sarah Braim, Brad and the teens have been sponsors during our activities.  Joanna Martin and Abby Longley took time to prepare for Terrific Tuesday.  Through out the year their teachers have been Brenda Gamboa, Joanna Martin, Debbie Strickland, Abby Longley, Jaylene Crisman, Sharon Young, Carol Hall, Donna Sikes, Brenda Lathrop, Jay Larned, David Thames, Misti Maxwell, Joy Nunnally, Darlene Spann, Julie Hilty, Boots Jarrett, Janie Withers, Amy Watkins, and Catherine Clements.  Zachary Griffith and Barbara Stelding have helped us with driving the kids to church and home.

God answered our prayers with your support and increasing our children.  We hope to continue to grow and we can with your continued strength and encouragement.  Thank you for being our family.

In Him for the Children,
Karen and Kathy
