Woodlawn Youth Ministry

What a joy it is to celebrate with our seniors the closing of an important chapter in their lives.  Today we honor Diane Larned, Jeff Ronquillo and Aaron Sparks for their accomplishments as they approach their graduation day.  These fine graduates have made this church proud in the way they conduct themselves both here at Woodlawn and through their various activities at school and elsewhere.  Do you wish to know more about these fine young Christians?  Seek them out today and tell them how proud you are of them.  Come tonight to the fellowship hall after the evening assembly and join us as we recognize their accomplishments at the Senior Reception.  Come celebrate the mighty works God has done in their lives as they have grown up in the Lord!

The rest of our youth have not been idle either as the end of school approaches.  Jasmine Martin was awarded both the English and Art award by her teachers at Franklin Middle School.  Tyler Sparks recently performed in Guys and Dolls at Mann Middle School and was also honored for his hard work with the orchestra there.  Having heard him play the viola, I can tell you that this young man is a truly gifted performer.  Jeannie Williams recently auditioned for the play next fall at Abilene High and made the cut, so we anticipate seeing her perform.  There's a full summer coming up for the youth, so keep our kids and teens in your prayers as we prepare to launch into the summertime.  May your day be blessed by the giver of all blessings.

Brad Sullivan

I just wanted to say thank you for all the prayers, visits, cards and the beautiful ivy!  I really appreciate being a part of such a loving congregation and am excited about the thought that our sweet baby boy will have that same connection.  Thanks again.
