30 Days of Prayer

Karl Barth once said that "to clasp the hands in prayer is the beginning of an uprising against the disorder of the world."

To pray is to change.  It is not simply a means of communication between humanity and God, but is an invitation for God's reign to take precedence in our lives.  It is a very powerful way in which we confess before our Creator "yet not as we will, but as you will."

By now, you have hopefully begun the journey of 30 days of focused prayer that we are doing together as a body at Woodlawn.  During the next seven days, I invite you to pray over the reality that you are created to live for God.  Below is a reminder of the prayer focal points each day.  May we invite God's kingdom reign as we bow in prayer.

Your Partner in Prayer,
Dwayne

Week 2: You are Consecrated to Live for God

Please pray that...
April 4 - your entire life might be lived for God, your Creator.
April 5 - God would transform us as we worship Him.
April 6 - Our worship time might witness and communicate the Gospel to unbelievers.
April 7 - Our worship time might strengthen the church body.
April 8 - the entire Woodlawn body would gather for worship.
April 9 - God's kingdom purposes would reign in our worship together.
April 10 - our worship would always center around Jesus' death, burial, and resurrection.
