WOODLAWN INVOLVEMENT MINISTRY

Woodlawn 101
At Woodlawn, we truly want to be a thankful people when we see God working all around us.  Because of God's work among us, we are happy to offer Woodlawn 101 - our two-week intro class to what goes on here at the Woodlawn Church of Christ.  So, if you are a new member or a visitor (Christian or non-Christian), please register at the church office (673-6776) to attend Woodlawn 101 on Feb. 9 and 16 at 6:00 p.m.

Campus Ministry News
College students and young adults, don't forget about today's Devotional and Super Bowl Party at 4:15 p.m. at the Bailey's (see Dwayne for info).  Also, mark your calendars for Friday, February 13 for our "Everyone's Your Date" Valentine Party (details will be announced soon).

Young Family News
If you're still looking for a class to plug into on Wednesday nights, feel free to join our Nurturing the Christian Family class.  Also, mark your calendars for Saturday night, February 7 at 6:00 p.m. for a devotional and game night (details will be announced soon).

God is doing great things at Woodlawn.  If you're not plugged in somewhere, please let us help you get connected.

There will be a Ministry/Staff meeting in the library this afternoon at 1 p.m.

Congratulations to Missy & Johnny Tharp (& the rest of the clan) on the birth of Peyton Lude Tharp last Wednesday.  He weighed 8 lb. 1 oz. and was 22 inches long.  Grandma Gracie is there (in Ohio) visiting.

The Funeral Meat Fund is getting low and needs refurnishing.  Please see John Fort or Dick Lago.

Additional copies of the Updated Membership List are available in the foyer today.

REMEMBER POTLUCK NEXT SUNDAY

Tuesday Night Adult Bible Study
The Tuesday Night Adult Bible Study class will begin a new study in the General Epistles in February.  The first book studied will be James.  The class meets at the Jaryl Young home, 926 Victoria, each first and third Tuesday evening at 7:00 o'clock.  The class ends promptly at 8:00 o'clock.  If you enjoy bible study in a relaxed atmosphere, where discussion of the scripture is encouraged and there is no set schedule of how much material must be studied in each session, you would enjoy this class.  Adults of all ages and all levels of Christian maturity are invited to attend and participate.
