Singing
– We sing praises to God and edify one another in
psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs by making melody in
our hearts to the Lord. (Ephesians
5:19)
The
Lord's Supper - Communion with our Lord
and Savior, Jesus Christ, is for remembering His death
on the cruel cross. When we partake of the loaf and the
fruit of the vine, we are remembering His suffering and
death until he comes again. Participating in the Lord’s
Supper reminds us of His unselfish love and sacrifice
for the sin of the world.
Giving
– Our giving at Woodlawn is a voluntary, free will
offering from our members to God in order to support the
ministries that serve Him here and in various parts of
the world. All are encouraged to give as having been prospered.
Bible
Study – We are committed to the Bible
as God’s communication to man concerning salvation,
family life, relationships, business, and every dimension
of human experience. Our sermon messages and Bible classes
are for teaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ, so that all
who will hear and obey may become not only God’s
child, but form a way of life to enable everyone to obtain
victory over the world. They also are specifically designed
to edify and encourage everyone to live a joyful life
everyday.
