CELL PHONE vs. BIBLE

I wonder what would happen if we treated our Bible like we treat our cell phone.

What if we carried it around in our purses or pockets?

What if we flipped through it several times a day?

What if we turned back to go get it if we forgot it?

What if we used it to send and receive text messages from the Bible to each other?

What if we treated it like we couldn't live without it?

What if we gave it to kids as gifts?

What if we used it when we traveled?

What if we used it in case of emergency?

Oh, and one more thing.  Unlike our cell phone, we don't have to worry about our Bible being disconnected because Jesus already paid the bill for life.

And, no dropped calls, no dead batteries, nowhere without a full signal, no monthly bills or limit on minutes, and, always in style!

Makes you stop and think, “Where are my priorities?”

The Little Wooden Box is Getting Attention
The Family Fund is doing better thanks to your generosity.  Your financial support makes this an effective way we help one another.  Anything that you can give will be helpful as an expression of your love for each other.  Please consider placing your contribution in this wooden box in the foyer.  We will continue to leave this box in the foyer in hopes of building this resource through your generous giving.

Great Prayer Ministry
The Woodlawn Family surrounded the Copher family with love and immersed them in prayer last Sunday evening.  90 members committed to 107 prayer occasions per day for this family.  Keep praying and please join this effort by putting your name on the list, in the foyer by the bulletins, with a time that you will pray everyday.  Please take a card to help you remember this through the week located in a small basket by the list.
