The Christian's ABCs

Although things are not perfect
Because of trial or pain,
Continue in thanksgiving
Do not begin to blame.
Even when the times are hard
Fierce winds are bound to blow.
God is forever able,
Hold on to what you know.
Imagine life without His love.
Joy would cease to be.
Keep thanking Him for all the things
Love imparts to thee.
Move out of “Camp Complaining.”
No weapon that is known
On earth can yield the power
Praise can do alone.
Quit looking at the future.
Redeem the time at hand.
Start every day with worship.
To “thank” is a command.
Until we see Him coming
Victorious in the sky,
We’ll run the race with gratitude
Xalting God most high.

THANK YOU NOTES

Hi members of Woodlawn Church,
We just wanted to thank you for the wonderful time we had on our vacation.  We had a wonderful time with Dwayne, Julie, and that little Bundle of Joy (Riley).  Also we really enjoyed the church services, Sunday morning and Sunday evening.  Monday night for The Master was great.  All the people were so friendly.  Sure made us feel at home.  Thank You again and may God Bless You.  Our prayers and thoughts are with you.

Dear Church Family,
Thank you for all the love and support you have shown me through both the death of my mom and my grandmother.  I cannot say in words what you have meant to me during the past two years.  I will always remember everyone.
In Christian Brotherhood,
Claiborn Hailey

PRAYER CONCERNS

Zelda Bennett had a heart valve replacement Thursday and remains in Hendrick.

Peggy Allen will have surgery Tuesday, Oct. 21st to repair her rotary cuff.

Mary Emerson will have foot surgery on Monday, Oct. 20.

Mary Young is doing very well after her recent surgery.

We rejoice with John Moreno that his tumor is NOT cancerous and will be treated with needles and medication, not surgery.

We have many members traveling this week.  Please pray for their safe return.
