Woodlawn Involvement Ministry

As a community of faith, we praise God for the many good things happening here at Woodlawn so that we might share Christ’s love with our surrounding community.  God is alive and active in the world today, and he is active here at Woodlawn bringing about his purposes in our life together.  Just how has he been working?

Growth.  We praise God for the addition of five new members this past Sunday with Andrew Brossett, Angelo Davila, Kinney & Theressa Mabry (with sons Ethan and Collin), and John Walker.  With the addition of these faithful believers, we also continue to pray that God would send non-Christian seekers our way that they might experience salvation in Jesus.

Teachers.  Those servants who have given of themselves to make sure that God’s word is understood are deeply valued here at Woodlawn.  In fact, this Sunday, July 27, they will be honored at our Teacher Appreciation Dinner.

Fellowship.  There have been many ways in which we have connected with each other and shared our vision for unity and purpose.  On July 3 the Youth Ministry hosted a family BBQ at the State Park and on July 20 our entire church family worshipped and fellowshipped at the Cobb Park Recreation Center.

We serve a mighty God whose “love endures forever” (Ps. 136) and who has given us, his people, a vision for ministering to the world around us.  Remember what God has done for us.  Remember how he has worked in your life.  Remember and give thanks, for he is good.

Your Partner In Ministry,
Dwayne
