"Parting is such sweet sorrow..."
As Jenny and I approach the end of our time with you, we are saddened by the prospect of leaving our loving church family. You have been a comfort, an encouragement and a place where we could safely grow into the family that we have become.
Despite our sadness at leaving you at the end of this month, we are encouraged by the growth we are seeing within Woodlawn. Loving this church like we do, it is a joy for us to see other families and individuals joining the journey of God’s family at Woodlawn.
The need for workers in God’s kingdom has never been more evident. Woodlawn Church of Christ has a great past, and it is time for us as the church to begin preparing for a great future.
As Woodlawn experiences the growth of God’s blessings, it is up to us to spread those blessings to the lost and hurt around us. Let Woodlawn be ever vigilant in its desire to spread the good news of Christ Jesus, not only in Africa or the Far East but in our neighborhoods as well.
May God bless this church as it strives to become the incarnation of Christ to the world around it. You have modeled Christ to Jenny and me. May your light never dim.
In Christian Love,
Brad Sullivan

Announcements
OPERATION BLUE JEANS
Each Fall the Christian Service Center has a special drive to help “outfit” needy children for the coming school year. Extra volunteers are especially needed at this time, but they also need good used clothing and/or money to help with new school supplies. Donation envelopes are available on the posters here. To volunteer, call the center at 673-7531.
The New Member Reception scheduled for next Sunday has been postponed.
Remember to bring canned soup for Medina Children’s Home.
This is the last week for the Mabry baby Diaper Shower (crib in the foyer).
Each child is His -- our Coins for Kidz campaign helps young mothers who choose adoption over abortion find Christian families to adopt their babies. The mothers we work with are choosing to give their babies the precious gift of life!
If you have brought food for a special meal, please pick up your dishes today from the table in the foyer.
FIFTH SUNDAY SUPPER ‘N SONG
Next Sunday, 5 PM, in the Fellowship Hall. Bring finger foods (Sandwiches, chips or veggies with dips, cookies).
It will be Brad and Jenny Sullivan’s last Sunday with us, and we want to shower them with gifts that will remind them of Texas. They are moving to Fayetteville, Tennessee, where Brad will be the youth minister at the Washington Street Church of Christ.
