Seeds
This is the season of the year that God places us within an environment of newness, growth, and difference. The temperature elevates the ground that brings forth life from the seemingly lifeless ground. The seeds of the earth receive their cue of 84 degrees from the sun and moisture from the sky. Up from the ground comes life glorifying God and providing for His creation. The fields of the earth are decorated by His hand allowing all things from God to be seen, touched, and experienced. We are blessed every season by God subduing the earth as He has made His presence known to all creation. We are awakened to call God’s creation good.
You are of that creation and we are His Church. Our purpose is of God, for God, and because of God. He mercifully and gracefully waits patiently for our belonging when we are actually of His hand from the beginning. God understands process, seasons, and growth. Regrettably, a seed must die and fall to the ground before it is brought to life. (John 12:24). You see, God’s purpose for us as one seed is not to individually bring life upon ourselves. God’s purpose is to bring life to many. That one seed is Christ through the Promise handed down through Abraham. (Galatians 3:16). We are the many from Jesus on the cross. We have been buried to be raised to life for the many. You and I are designated and chosen to be the glory of his people as the fields bring forth his life. Let us facilitate God’s promise as His creation and bring forth many through His patience, mercy, and grace by allowing His Word to nourish those who have fallen to the ground in this community. THANK YOU NOTES
Thank you so very much for all your cards, calls, food, and prayers; and Dr. Hobbs always looked forward to Monday Night for the Master. Keep up the good work and may each of you be blessed.
Bernice for Dr. Hobbs
Dear Christian Family,
Thank you, so much, for the beautiful cards and so many of you being present during our Golden Anniversary Celebration. We were overwhelmed to say the least. The Woodlawn Family is always so supportive with their love.
We Love You,
Linda and Ray Oden
Thank you so much for the wonderful meal that was served prior to Mother’s services. Thanks also to the office staff for their help in making this difficult time a little easier.
Pat Rosenbaum
Thank you for your wonderful response to the dishrag sell. Your support for the youth has already made such a difference!
Flo
Dear Woodlawn Family -
It’s hard to find words to say thank you when loving Christians do so much for you. Your help with my brother, Tommy Masters’, funeral; the potted plant & the wonderful meal were greatly appreciated. But best of all, I got to see so many faces of people that I love with all my heart! (What a great time when we meet in heaven)! In fact if I were asked to spell Christian love, it would be W-O-O-D-L-A-W-N! May God continue to bless you as you labor for Him.
Vonda Neece
Thank you all so much for your prayers and concern. You all mean so much to me!
