Woodlawn's Wildlife Reservation

VBS 2005 starts tonight at 6:30!

Please invite your friends, neighbors, and co-workers to bring their children, grandchildren, nieces & nephews to join in on all the fun and excitement!

We would like to thank you for helping us gather pictures and ice cream lids.  However, we want to encourage you to keep eating ice cream and bring us your lids.  We still have the VBS in Rock Springs to go and will need half-gallon ice cream lids for that as well.

Please keep us in your prayers this week as we work to help spread God’s word through fun events with the children.

If you are wanting to help, but don’t know what to do, we will have a place for you!  We will need any extra help and we encourage all to take part in this enjoyable and enlightening time.

In it for the children,
Kathy & Karen

THANK YOU NOTES

Woodlawn Family,
We can’t thank you enough for your kind and generous ways!  Your open arms are a true gift that we cherish dearly.  The beautiful baby shower that you gave us was more than we could have ever asked for and the words thank you seem so inadequate for all that you do for us.
We love you! Will & Cherrelle

Thank you for all your prayers and loving concern for me and my family in our time of stress.  I know that God has everything under control, but it is nice to know that our friends are there too.
In Christian Love, Bobby & Ann Young

Promise of God in Psalm 119

38 Fulfill your promise to your servant, so that you may be feared.
41 May your unfailing love come to me, O LORD, your salvation according to your promise; 42 then I will answer the one who taunts me, for I trust in your word
50 My comfort in my suffering is this: Your promise preserves my life.
57 You are my portion, O LORD; I have promised to obey your words.
58 I have sought your face with all my heart; be gracious to me according to your promise.
76 May your unfailing love be my comfort, according to your promise to your servant.
82 My eyes fail, looking for your promise; I say, "When will you comfort me?"
116 Sustain me according to your promise, and I will live; do not let my hopes be dashed.
123 My eyes fail, looking for your salvation, looking for your righteous promise.
140 Your promises have been thoroughly tested, and your servant loves them.
148 My eyes stay open through the watches of the night, that I may meditate on your promises.
154 Defend my cause and redeem me; preserve my life according to your promise.
162 I rejoice in your promise like one who finds great spoil.
170 May my supplication come before you; deliver me according to your promise.

This years Vacation Bible School theme is about God’s Promises.  Everyone is invited to come and participate in teaching the children all about how He has promised to protect us, care for us, and love us.  Please pray for all the teachers, that they are able to reach the children with this significant message; and pray also for the children this week, that they may receive the message in the way it is presented.
