Congratulations to Our High School Graduates

As the heat of summer begins to close in around us we know that it is time once again to recognize our seniors graduating from high school.  As these students launch out from the familiar environment of high school and enter into the world of work or of higher education it is important that we as the family of God surround them and encourage them.  Their lives will hinge on the decisions they make in the next few years and it is important that they make these decisions within a Christian community that cares for them.  As we gather to worship today let us praise God for the gifts and the talents that he has put into our graduating seniors and pray that they will remain in God’s kingdom no matter where their lives might take them.  Be sure to grab Nick Castleberry, Jennifer Barron, David Thames, Zach Pruitt and Jeremy Johnson and tell them how proud you are of them.  Please take the time after the morning service to walk over to the Fellowship hall and join their families for a brief reception celebrating this important milestone in their lives.  May God bless them and God bless you this weekend.

Brad Sullivan
