Message from the Youth

It is good for the family of God to sustain and lift up one another.  The members of the youth group would like to thank all of you who have been so supportive of our activities during the past few months.  These activities have ranged from devotionals to Leadership Training for Christ and this youth ministry could not exist without your support and involvement.  One fine example of your support has been the Youth Activity Room that has been opened for our teenage and college-aged members.  With the generous support of many of you we have created a space that gives the teenagers a place to safely spend time both before and after church and even occasionally after school.  Many of you have given games, money, and even electronic equipment to make this room a real blessing to the teenagers in our church.  Your devotion to the future generations of our church is commendable.  Thank you for being so willing to give of yourselves and your resources for the teenagers here at Woodlawn.

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Thank you so much for your love and care for our mother, Lilleen Hale, through the years.  The green ivy plant that was sent to the hospital while she was there was beautiful!  She loved flowers and especially ivy - what an appropriate choice!!  The meal that was prepared for the family was wonderful, and we appreciate your kindness and thoughtfulness in doing this for us.  Thank you so very much for everything that you did for our family.
