Woodlawn Children's Ministry

THANK YOU
I would like to say a big Thank You to all of you who have volunteered to minister to the children of Woodlawn by teaching a Bible class.  Your servant spirits are appreciated more than you know!

LTC NEWS
Please be in prayer about the eleven preteens and teenagers who will be participating in the Leadership Training Conference on April 18 & 19 in Dallas.  Aaron and Tyler Sparks, Jeremy, Briana and Kendra Reams, Caitlin McGuire, Dillon Pruitt, Wichere Souen, Joshua Pangburn, Joshua Alkire, and Zelmon, Woods, Jr. are now training for the conference and are doing anything from building a scrapbook to teaching a class to leading songs.  These young men and women have been working extremely hard on their projects and we are very proud of their desire to serve our Lord.

Attention all parents!
We will be having a children's ministry parents meeting on Wednesday, Apr. 2, at 8 p.m. immediately after classes.  Please come to give your input on how we may better serve your children.

In Christ,
Amy

To Woodlawn church,
What an encouraging card you sent as our son, Nathan Ray, was dying.  For your concern and prayers, we are so grateful.  May the Lord bless your work at Woodlawn since you serve and comfort so many in the community.
     Gratefully, Amos and Dewby Ray

The member at Woodlawn express our appreciation to Dwayne and the university students for planning and "manning" the 24-hour prayer vigil last weekend.  You young people are a great encouragement to us.  Thanks and keep up the good work.

A note from Woody...
My family that God has so richly blessed me with! I will be departing for my next tour-of-duty (Korea) on 6 April.  I can't say enough thanks for the wonderful love and care we've enjoyed since joining the family at Woodlawn.  I leave knowing Paula and "Z" will be with a God fearing and loving family of Christians.  This gives me great comfort.  I thank each of you for your prayers.  Here is my contact information.

Prayer Concerns

Harold Morgan is home now.  Doctors in San Angelo told him that there is nothing more they can do for his bone cancer.  He needs our prayers!!

Gregoria Moreno had polyps removed last week and will travel to her cancer doctors in San Antonio on Apr. 3 for the lab results and also have follow-up tests for her last treatments.  If the cancer has returned, she will begin treatments immediately.  John is doing much better and may get to go.

Pat Edmundson fell and broke her hand the first of last week.
