Woodlawn Children's Ministry

Spring is almost here and with it comes new life.  New life in our family will happen if we toil the ground, plant, water, and bring the Son to shine in the neighborhood.

With the children's program, Woodlawn can continue to bring in new life.  MNFTM has done a wonderful job in making phone calls, sending cards, and making visits.  One way we can enhance what is happening is to continue to cultivate the soil of the little souls we have and reach out to sow more seeds.  We encourage you to embrace our children and their families by interacting with them.  Show them the positive side of having a church family and delete their negative thoughts by showing God’s love.

Do your neighbor children attend church?  Offer to bring children to church with parental permission.  This will open doors for you to encourage parents.  Then your neighbors will bring their friends and families.

We want to show them an active church by providing a place where their children can come and have a good time in a loving and caring environment.  This weekend we had a great time at the new Fort Imagination.  We will have monthly activities for the children.  We will also have Summer VBS activities for the children and their families.  Start now by going out and asking that acquaintance to Woodlawn.  People are looking for a place to belong and grow, so let’s have rich soil for them to put their roots into, and we will all develop into a loving family of God.

"Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.  Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers." - (Gal 6:9-10)

In him for his children,
Karen and Kathy
