WHAT IS LOVE?

It’s silence when your words would hurt.
It’s patience when your neighbor’s curt.
It’s deafness when the scandal flows.
  It’s thoughtfulness for another’s woes.
It’s promptness when stern duty calls.
  It’s courage when misfortune falls.

  Happy Valentine Day

THANKS

Dear Woodlawn Family
Thank you for the beautiful plant, also for your cards and prayers after the loss of our family members.
     With Love,
     Ray and Linda Oden

Dear Woodlawn Family,
How can I ever repay you for all you do for me.  Without your continuing prayers for me and the interceding grace and mercy of our Heavenly Father, I would not be writing this.  There are so many to thank.  The Wednesday Ladies Bible Study, thank you for your continual remembrances: the yellow roses were most beautiful and a great source of job and comfort along with the many colored blooming mums.  Oh, how I appreciate your continuing cards, phone calls and visits; also food you bring to my home.  Thanks to Ray and John for removing the dead fruit trees.  Dwayne and the college singers brought us heart-warming Christmas carols.  I am most fortunate to have you for a church family.  Our Lord’s love makes it all possible.  In His name I thank you.
     Your humble brother,
     Alfred Gadberry

Dear Woodlawn Church of Christ,
Thank you for the support of the men that came to see me on behalf of my mother-in-law, Effie Shelfer.  She is a very sweet lady.  Thanks also for the basket of mums.  They are still pretty and will be put in the ground later. I am feeling better.  Thank you for your support and prayers.
     Sincerely,
     Sharon Denise Shelfer

Woodlawn family,
Thanks so much for all the cards, prayers and concern shown me during my recent surgery and recovery.
     Mary Middleton

To our beloved Woodlawn brethren,
It sure was good to be home again! We enjoyed the fellowship and we know that all your love and encouragement will spur us on to better bears ahead with the Lord.  Thank you.
     Love, Kin and Chrissy Lau
