THANK YOU NOTES

To my Woodlawn family,
Thank you for all the prayers on my behalf along with the cards, phone calls, and beautiful plant.  It is great having such a caring family.
Love, Karen Griffith

Hello, everybody.  My son with MS, Jimmy Weber, called to ask for prayers.  Their oldest little granddaughter, McKenna, 4 years old, was diagnosed with leukemia today.  They are expecting their second baby on June 12.  And with this very serious illness, Mindy will need our prayers, too.  So I would ask you to pray for Jimmy and his family.  The Lord is over us all, and thank goodness He gave us the avenue of prayer.  Thanks in advance for your prayer support.
Love, Pat and Larry Gill

Announcements

Youth news ~ LTC is starting back up!  They are tentatively planning to have meetings for the high school group to work on projects on Monday nights immediately following the MNFTM meal.  They need some adult volunteers to help with projects - men and women - for things like song leading, skits, scrapbooks, puppets, art, etc.  There is a sign-up sheet in the foyer for this as well as for devotionals and the Super-Bowl party in February.

Youth Devotional tonight at Hazel Fillmon’s house shortly after evening services.

Welcome Home Bible Bowl Team!!!  We are proud of each and everyone of you!  We can’t wait to hear how you did in Las Cruces, NM!!!

The Elders have received a first hand report from Ferrell and Carol Stevens of the great loss of member’s homes and shattered lives from the Cross Plaines fire.  The Elders would like Woodlawn to help our brethren.  You can donate funds through an Elder or in the office.  Make checks out to Woodlawn Church of Christ.
