THANK YOU NOTES

Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Although we have never been members at your congregations, Woodlawn has been a very special part of our family’s life as you have taken such care of our dear Ken, Ruth, and Mark.  We are so grateful to have you as a part of our lives.  Thank you so much for helping us with Ken’s funeral and for providing that wonderful meal for all our family who were able to come.  God bless you for all you have done for us.
Eric & Robbin Hardegree

Thank you for your concern & prayers on behalf of our family over the loss of our precious earthly father, Gene Leverett.  We deeply appreciate the pathos plants you sent while he was hospitalized and also for the funeral.  Our thanks also for providing the lunch prior to the funeral.  It was delicious & enjoyed by all.
In Christian Love,
Jodie Leverett & family

Announcements

Youth news ~ LTC is starting back up!  They are tentatively planning to have meetings for the high school group to work on projects on Monday nights immediately following the MNFTM meal.  They need some adult volunteers to help with projects - men and women - for things like song leading, skits, scrapbooks, puppets, art, etc.  There is a sign-up sheet in the foyer for this as well as for devotionals and the Super-Bowl party in February.

We apologize for the technical delay of the new church directory.  We are resolving these problems with Olan Mills and hope to have it ready for publication soon.

Bible Bowl Fundraiser!!!
The High School Bible Bowl team will be having a Spaghetti supper for anyone wanting to eat!  Just show up to the Fellowship Hall after the evening service on Sunday, January 22, to enjoy the dinner.  Donations will be accepted to help them fund their Bible Bowl trip to California.

The Elders have received a first hand report from Ferrell and Carol Stevens of the great loss of member’s homes and shattered lives from the Cross Plaines fire.  The Elders would like Woodlawn to help our brethren.  You can donate funds through an Elder or in the office.  Make checks out to Woodlawn Church of Christ.
